    A quick and easy, salt-free spice blend to amp up the flavour profile of your tacos, burgers, tofu scrambles, sauces, and veggies. So versatile! So delicious!

    I love having custom spice blends on hand to elevate our everyday dishes to something extraordinary. This Southwest Spice Blend doesn't disappoint. It has heat coming at you from a couple sources. And loads of flavour from garlic and onion to paprika and cumin plus added health benefits from oregano and turmeric. As well, it's totally customizable - make it hotter, spicier, more garlicky, sweeter or salty. The choice is yours!

    Southwest seasoning is super versatile and adds an incredible rich colour to everything you sprinkle it on from grilled potatoes to Mexican Street Corn, baked tofu, burritos, dips, and sheet pan veggies - the opportunities are endless.

    Take a few minutes to make up jar of this Latin seasoning and then get shaking! Switch it out for the spices in this Mexican-inspired Breakfast Hash, as well as this Spicy Taco Buddha Bowl, or these Simply Delicious Vegan Tacos.

    Southwest Spice Blend

    Flavorful warming spices like chilli, paprika, cayenne and cinnamon mixed with garlic and onion spices to make the perfect Southwestern blend for tacos, pasta, and sauces.

    INGREDIENTS

    • 2 tbsp hot paprika
    • 1 tbsp oregano
    • 1 tsp chili powder
    • 1 ½ tbsp cumin
    • 2 tsp thyme
    • 1 tsp coriander
    • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
    • 1 tbsp garlic powder
    • 1 tbsp onion granules
    • 1 tbsp cracked black pepper
    • ¼- ½ tsp cayenne (to taste)
    • ½ tsp cinnamon
    • 1 ½ tsp turmeric

    INSTRUCTIONS
     

    • Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight jar ready for use.

    NOTES

    Bulk store - get the spices at the bulk store for a huge variety and cost savings.
    Store the spices in a jar in the pantry.
