Classic Burger Sauce Ingredients
It takes only a handful of basic ingredients to make this tasty vegan Big Mac sauce from scratch. Here's what you'll need:
- Mayonnaise: Vegenaise is my vegan mayonnaise of choice. Super creamy and great flavor - the perfect sauce base.
- Sweet green relish: Pickled relish adds sweet, tanginess and some texture too!
- Yellow mustard: Slightly tart and tangy bright yellow mustard.
- White vinegar: Vinegar balances out the sweetness and cuts the richness of the mayo.
- Sweet paprika: Paprika brings color and flavor!
- Spice blend: Onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
- Ketchup: Ketchup is optional, but it adds a lovely color and a hint of sweetness.
- Sriracha: This ingredient is optional, but a squirt of sriracha or cayenne pepper adds some heat when you're in the mood for a spicy vegan burger sauce.
