Every year I get a ton of questions from family and friends about what vegans eat for Thanksgiving. Here's a popular question: 'If you don't eat turkey, what do you serve for Thanksgiving?'
That's an easy answer - there's lots of Thanksgiving classics that don't include turkey! Today I'm sharing some of my best vegan Thanksgiving recipes to help you figure out what to serve at your own dinner or what to take along to share at Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving this year.
Below you'll find lot of ideas for creating a meat free holiday menu you'll be proud to serve and that everyone will devour. Let's get into the details . . .
MILLION DOLLAR TIPS: When planning your menu, I recommend choosing a few make-ahead recipes that you can reheated the day of. As well, make a master schedule: Write a list of everything you're making. Jot down next to it if it needs time in the oven, stove, air fryer, crock pot, microwave, etc. Note how long the dish has to cook, and what time it has to go in. That way you won't get any appliance backlogs or forget anything - hopefully!
Vegan Thanksgiving Appetizers

Pro Tip: My strategy when planning a big holiday meal is to choose, one or two kick a$$ appetizer recipes that everyone loves, that can be made ahead or better yet, frozen in advance. These recipes are worth their weight in gold when it comes to managing stress levels and juggling a long TO DO list on the big day. Here's my epic go-to appie:
